Senior System Engineer (Autonomous Vehicles)

What you will do

• Own system-level quality across software modules, component interfaces, and autonomous vehicle behavior.
• Lead complex investigations across multiple software modules and drive root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
• Develop Common Failure Mode frameworks and recommend simulation, field validation, and regression coverage.
• Assess release risks related to software features, pull requests, firmware updates, and system changes.
• Own release quality reporting, summarize risks and known issues, and define validation priorities.
• Design KPIs and dashboards using logs, metrics, and field data to evaluate system stability and operational productivity.

Requirements

• Strong systems thinking and ability to understand complex integrated software systems.
• Experience in system debugging, field issue investigation, software validation, or system integration.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with data pipelines, data ingestion, and daily data processing.
• Experience collaborating across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience with robotics, autonomous vehicles, or related systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with release management, validation strategy, or field reliability.
• Project management experience.
• FMEA or Common Failure Mode Analysis experience.
• SQL, Python, Jira, or data visualization tools.
