Location: Budapest, Hungary; based at the Budapest office with hybrid and flexible working policies

What you will do
- Lead and develop a team of Data Scientists and AI Engineers through technical direction, coaching, and delivery oversight.
- Define and execute AI and Machine Learning initiatives that improve business performance and operational efficiency.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and develop high-impact AI solutions.
- Lead AI projects from experimentation and concept development through deployment, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
- Drive AI agents, automation, advanced analytics, MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring practices.
- Collaborate with IT, Software Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Data Governance teams to deliver scalable and compliant solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience leading Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI teams in a large and complex organisation.
- Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, AI Agents, and modern AI technologies.
- Experience delivering enterprise AI solutions from concept through production.
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and modern AI/ML frameworks and libraries.
- Understanding of MLOps, data pipelines, model deployment, and AI operationalisation.
- Fluent English required.
