Data Scientist Intern (AI)

Location: Budapest, Hungary; applicants must be studying at a Hungarian university for at least another 12 months.

What you will do

• Use agentic AI and data mining tools to improve machine learning training datasets.
• Identify, analyze, and investigate issues in training data, annotations, and model training pipelines.
• Develop Python-based analyses and experiments to detect data quality issues and improve training efficiency.
• Collaborate with deep learning and ML engineers to uncover bottlenecks and quality gaps in training code and workflows.

Requirements

• Ongoing studies at a Hungarian university for at least another 12 months.
• Hands-on experience with Python programming and Git version control.
• Interest in data science, data mining, machine learning, and AI technologies.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Conversational English required.

Nice to have

• Experience with PyTorch or other machine learning frameworks.
• Experience with robotics, autonomous systems, or sensor-based applications.
• Experience with camera, radar, or lidar sensor modalities.
• Experience with LLM-based or agentic AI tools.
