Location: Remote in the United States, Canada, Germany, or Norway

Salary: $190,000–$255,000 USD per year; regional ranges include $195,000–$265,000 CAD, €110,000–€160,000 EUR, and 1,206,458–1,754,848 NOK per year.

What you will do

• Architect, design, and implement graph-compiler optimizations for AI model execution.
• Improve performance, reduce latency, and maximize hardware utilization for neural-network workloads.
• Develop compiler passes that convert TensorFlow and PyTorch models into intermediate representations.
• Implement parsing, semantic analysis, and intermediate-representation generation for deep-learning frameworks.
• Optimize models through layer fusion, operator fusion, quantization, tiling, and graph-level transformations.
• Collaborate with ML researchers, hardware architects, and software engineers while mentoring compiler engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a Ph.D. is preferred.
• 3+ years of compiler-development experience focused on AI or ML graph compilers.
• Proficiency with AI graph-compiler frameworks such as MLIR or Torch-FX.
• Strong understanding of hardware architectures including GPUs, TPUs, or ASICs.
• Knowledge of neural-network operators, code generation, intermediate representations, parsing, and semantic analysis.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, or other languages commonly used in compiler development, plus experience leading and mentoring engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Open-source contributions to AI software frameworks and libraries.
• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
