FinOps Recons Associate (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own reconciliation processes for hirify.global products across the region and verify that funds move as expected.
• Identify incorrect or unreconciled transactions and work with product, partnerships, and finance teams to resolve root causes.
• Collaborate with product teams to automate reconciliations and close process gaps that could expose hirify.global to money loss.
• Set up and manage reconciliation processes for new products and markets.
• Maintain high standards for financial operations and transaction oversight.

Requirements

• Degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in a startup, fast-paced environment, payments, fintech, or financial services.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify patterns or discrepancies in data.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, collaborate with stakeholders, and operate effectively under pressure.

Nice to have

• Experience working with banks or large financial institutions on finance, payments, or reconciliations.
• Experience with reconciliation tools and SQL.
• Ownership mentality, initiative, creative problem-solving, and ability to learn new skills quickly.
