Staff Security Operations Engineer (Imprivata OneSign)

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia; Penang SDSM Office. Primary work is performed in a general and/or home office environment, with support across time zones for Asia coverage and 24×7 on-call availability.

What you will do

• Own the administration, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and lifecycle support of the Imprivata OneSign platform.
• Configure and troubleshoot single sign-on, authentication, access workflows, and policies across applications, endpoints, and systems.
• Administer Duo MFA, Windows Hello for Business, Microsoft Intune, Conditional Access, compliance policies, RBAC, PIM, and MAA governance.
• Support Active Directory, Entra ID, Azure AD Connect synchronization, user accounts, group policies, organizational units, and access provisioning.
• Investigate identity-related incidents, lead escalations, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions with vendors and internal teams.
• Improve IAM processes through automation, documentation, compliance reporting, training, and identity governance initiatives.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering Imprivata OneSign or a comparable enterprise single sign-on and authentication platform.
• Experience with Duo MFA, Windows Hello for Business, Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID, and hybrid identity synchronization.
• PowerShell proficiency for identity automation, provisioning, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms and identity-event monitoring, audit reporting, and compliance requirements such as SOX.
• 6+ years of experience in IT or information security, including 3+ years administering and supporting Imprivata OneSign.
• English proficiency in speaking and writing and willingness to provide 24×7 on-call support across Asia time zones.

Nice to have

• Python experience for advanced IAM automation and integration.
• Experience with ArborXR or equivalent MDM platforms.
• Relevant Imprivata, Microsoft Identity, CISSP, or Duo Security certifications.
• BA or BS in information technology, computer science, information security, or a related field.
