What you will do
- Deliver timely month-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Investigate and resolve account discrepancies across multiple entities to improve data quality and reduce risk.
- Perform account analysis, variance reviews, and reporting to support finance and business decisions.
- Partner with cross-functional colleagues to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation, support audits, and ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and at least 5 years of combined general accounting and/or audit experience.
- Experience managing month-end close activities, preparing journal entries, and performing complex balance sheet reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including investigating discrepancies and identifying root causes.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and understanding of transaction flows into the general ledger.
- Fluent English with strong verbal and written communication skills is required.
Nice to have
- Certified Public Accountant designation.
- Experience supporting multinational or global business operations.
- Knowledge of process improvement, workflow documentation, and financial controls in shared services or complex accounting environments.
