Senior Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate highly available and secure Kubernetes clusters on AWS, including EKS and self-managed environments.
• Build GitHub Workflows and internal developer tooling to improve engineering delivery velocity.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks with Python, Terraform, OpenTofu, and Helm.
• Define platform standards for observability, cost management, resource scaling, and proactive incident management.
• Partner with application teams on containerized workloads and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
• Provide reliable tooling for customer onboarding, integrations, and service delivery in collaboration with Customer Success.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes, including Helm, RBAC, networking, and cluster operations.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar language for scripting, automation, and internal tools.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, OpenTofu, and Helm.
• Familiarity with multi-account AWS strategies, AWS Organizations, landing zone patterns, and multi-tenancy.
• Collaborative approach and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Istio service meshes, GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux, and container security tooling.
• Knowledge of OPA or Kyverno for policy enforcement and vulnerability scanning.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or OpenSearch for metrics, logging, and distributed tracing.
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes integrations with AWS services such as VPC CNI, External Secrets, ALB Ingress, and Security Groups.
