Interior Design Lead (Mid-weight Interior Designer)

What you will do

• Support design initiatives from initial concept through implementation.
• Develop conceptual frameworks and maintain an on-brand aesthetic suited to the market, neighborhood, and program.
• Create complete interior design packages, including drawings, lighting strategies, joinery, FF&E specifications, technical documentation, and handoff materials.
• Plan spaces by defining functional requirements, programming, code analysis, layouts, and stakeholder deliverables in Revit.
• Coordinate with the Design & Creative Director, architects of record, general contractors, project teams, vendors, and supply chain stakeholders.
• Lead internal and external meetings with clear agendas, project updates, and actionable communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design, architecture, or a related design field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in high-quality commercial or hospitality interiors; mixed-use residential, cultural, and institutional experience is also considered.
• Strong joinery design skills and a solid understanding of FF&E principles, construction materials, finishes, color combinations, spatial perception, and lighting.
• Excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication, decision-making, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Revit, Enscape, Google tools, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
• A portfolio must be submitted for consideration; periodic travel may be required.
