Senior Accountant

Location: Pasadena, California, United States

Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead and execute month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
• Analyze variances and explain results to management.
• Support internal and external audits and serve as the primary audit contact for assigned areas.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls.
• Assist with system implementations and process improvements while mentoring junior accounting staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or eligibility.
