Billing Accountant (Mid - Senior)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid workplace

Salary: €2,500–€3,300 gross per month; a different salary may be discussed based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including invoicing, cash application, customer balances, and collections.
• Process high-volume revenue and PSP data imports, ensuring accuracy and completing reconciliations.
• Prepare and submit sales tax and VAT reports to local and foreign tax authorities.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities and external audits.
• Maintain accounting policies and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and workflows.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Controlling on process improvement projects, system migrations, and new business initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of practical accounting experience focused on data processing and accounts receivable.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Understanding of general ledger, balance sheets, income statements, and debit/credit transactions.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including data analysis, complex formulas, and pivot tables.
• Independent, proactive approach with experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Lithuanian.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central (Navision) or Salesforce.
• Experience implementing process improvements.
