Senior Fullstack Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; hybrid work. Candidates must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where they work.

What you will do

• Own the full software engineering lifecycle from design and development through deployment, monitoring, and production maintenance.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, FastAPI, Angular, AWS, and SQL databases.
• Lead architectural decisions and build scalable, maintainable, reliable services and long-term features.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes to ensure operational reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements.
• Mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to incident response and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with end-to-end production delivery.
• Experience with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience managing both development and operational responsibilities, with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Prior senior-level experience mentoring or guiding team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
