Quantitative Researcher (Mid-Freq)

Salary: $175,000–$300,000 per year, plus discretionary performance-based bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Develop mid-frequency systematic trading strategies using rigorous statistical methods and diverse datasets.
• Generate alpha through novel predictions of market behavior.
• Research and prototype strategy components, including portfolio construction and optimization.
• Design and implement trade execution algorithms.
• Productionalize research ideas by writing reliable code.
• Collaborate with quantitative researchers to develop and refine trading models.

Requirements

• 3+ years of prior stat-arb work experience required.
• Degree in statistics, computer science, physics, mathematics, economics, or another quantitative or technical discipline.
• Exceptional academic credentials and strong attention to detail.
• Experience conducting research with large, noisy, real-world datasets.
• Strong numerical programming skills, including Python for data analysis and machine learning.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++.
