Salary: $180,000–$225,000 per year base salary; 40 hours per week

What you will do

  • Develop econometric, statistical, and simulation models to analyze and forecast financial-security price movements and macroeconomic, policy, and political conditions.
  • Formulate and implement mathematical models of investment strategies for computerized trading algorithms.
  • Research statistical effects, assess their robustness, and develop quantitative strategies across equities and other asset classes.
  • Build Python applications to automate daily data-dependency processing for trading strategies.
  • Validate and test trading simulations and critical trading applications.
  • Manage live-trading automations and continuously monitor related risk.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a STEM field or Economics.
  • At least two years of experience as a Quantitative Researcher, Investment Process Associate, or in a related role at an investment or asset management organization.
  • At least two years of experience analyzing macroeconomic data and relationships and their impact on asset prices.
  • At least two years of experience programming in Python and performing statistical analysis, including hypothesis testing, time-series analysis, and linear regression.
  • Knowledge of worldwide macroeconomic release details and methods and datasets used by the Bureau of Labor Statistics to create macroeconomic indices.
  • Experience building models to predict macroeconomic variables.
