DevOps Engineer (AWS/Kubernetes)

Salary: $90,000–$105,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Support deployments across AWS, Azure, and GCP multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and automate provisioning using Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Implement container deployment strategies with Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS.
• Provide developer tooling, maintain development and staging environments, and support application containerization.
• Implement monitoring and alerting, support capacity planning, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain operational runbooks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or software engineering and 3+ years in DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• AWS experience is required; Azure experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes or ECS.
• Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies, and deployment troubleshooting.

Nice to have

• Experience deploying Java and Spring Boot applications.
• Knowledge of database deployment and migration automation.
• Familiarity with New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, secrets management, and security scanning tools.
• Understanding of networking, load balancing, and CDN configurations.
