Expert Threat Intelligence Analyst (RICOCHET Anti-Cheat)

Location: Based in the Sherman Oaks, California or Vancouver, British Columbia office; onsite four days per week.

Salary: $99,200–$183,520 annual base pay in the U.S.; incentive compensation may also be available.

What you will do

• Lead complex investigations into cheat providers, exploit abuse, and organized player misconduct.
• Analyze game telemetry, behavioral data, player activity, and enforcement outcomes to identify threats and detection opportunities.
• Monitor cheat communities, marketplaces, distribution channels, and monetization models.
• Translate intelligence into enforcement strategies, product recommendations, and mitigation plans.
• Partner with engineering, data, operations, and product teams to operationalize intelligence in systems and models.
• Mentor analysts and improve intelligence processes, standards, and investigation quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in game security, anti-cheat, fraud or abuse, or adversarial systems.
• Experience investigating complex adversarial behaviors or ecosystems and disrupting their impact.
• Experience with large-scale telemetry, behavioral datasets, player activity data, and live-service environments.
• Ability to turn analytical findings into detections, enforcement actions, or design changes.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Reverse engineering, memory analysis, debugging, exploit development, or game client manipulation experience.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
• Python or other programming and scripting experience for analysis, tooling, or automation.
• Experience analyzing cheating-related online communities or improving anti-cheat detection systems.
• Experience building internal tools, workflows, or automation for analyst efficiency.
