What you will do
- Perform manual quality assurance for web applications, mobile applications, databases, and APIs.
- Analyze requirements, specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define test scope and approach.
- Create and maintain test plans, scenarios, cases, test data, and reports.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Analyze results, report risks, support releases and production validation, and improve testing processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or manual quality control.
- Strong manual testing experience with web applications, mobile applications, databases, and APIs.
- Experience with test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and requirements analysis.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data validation and issue investigation.
- Professional English communication skills are required; experience with Jira, Confluence/Wiki, SharePoint, or Excel is expected.
Nice to have
- API testing and database testing experience.
- Experience reviewing test cases and mentoring junior or middle QA members.
- Experience as a senior QA member, key project member, or team lead.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
