What you will do
- Perform manual quality assurance for web applications, mobile applications, databases, and APIs.
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria to define testing scope and approach.
- Prepare and manage test plans, scenarios, cases, test data, and reports.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects with detailed reproduction evidence.
- Analyze test results, communicate risks and quality recommendations, support releases, and improve QA processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or manual quality control.
- Strong experience with manual testing for web applications, mobile applications, databases, and APIs.
- Experience in test planning, test case design, execution, defect tracking, reporting, and requirements analysis.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for data validation and issue investigation.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence/Wiki, SharePoint, Excel, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience reviewing test cases and mentoring junior or middle QA members.
- Experience serving as a key or senior member, or team lead, on a software testing project.
