Founding Security Engineer (AI)

Location: In person in New York at the SoHo office

hirify.global is building an AI-powered healthcare network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma companies to accelerate patient access to medicine.

What you will do

• Own cloud and infrastructure security across AWS and GCP, including identity, network architecture, secrets management, guardrails, and secure-by-default primitives.
• Build security into product architecture and development workflows through design reviews, code reviews, authentication and authorization hardening, and reusable tooling.
• Establish detection, logging, audit trails, and incident response for systems handling protected health information.
• Secure corporate identity and employee access through SSO, endpoint and device security, SaaS hardening, and lifecycle controls.
• Design isolation and data-flow controls for agentic AI systems, including model pipelines and tool use.
• Build security automation and security-as-code while partnering with Legal, Compliance, and GTM on regulatory and customer requirements.

Requirements

• 7+ years of security engineering experience with a strong software engineering foundation.
• Hands-on cloud security experience across AWS and/or GCP, including infrastructure as code and security foundations.
• Experience spanning infrastructure, application, identity, and detection and response as a first security engineer.
• Experience designing security controls for LLMs, AI agents, and related data flows.
• Ability to protect sensitive data at scale; experience with PHI or HIPAA is advantageous.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, fast execution, and strong collaboration with former teammates.
