Business Applications Engineer (Oracle Transport Management)

Location: McCarran, Nevada, or Ridgeville, South Carolina, United States; willingness to be on site as needed and provide occasional off-hours support.

What you will do

• Own Oracle Transportation Management as the internal administrator and point of accountability.
• Configure and administer order and shipment management, planning and optimization, rating and tariffs, freight settlement, audit-pay, and supporting OTM modules.
• Build and maintain integrations and automation between OTM, the in-house WMS, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Manage carrier onboarding, rate maintenance, freight-cost accuracy, and inbound and outbound transportation exceptions.
• Partner with warehouse operations, material flow, Finance, and Business Development to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Manage quarterly OTM cloud updates, regression testing, documentation, runbooks, user support, and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5+ years of experience configuring and supporting Oracle Transportation Management, including agents, automation, and the OTM data model.
• Working knowledge of SQL and XML/XSL as used in OTM.
• Experience integrating transportation systems with ERP, WMS, carrier, or visibility partners using the OTM Integration Framework, REST/SOAP web services, or Oracle Integration Cloud.
• Understanding of transportation and logistics operations, including rating, carrier management, freight settlement, and planning.
• Willingness to be on site as needed and provide occasional off-hours support for updates, integration changes, and time-sensitive transportation issues.
