Principal Engineer - Analog/Mixed-Signal (IP Technical Lead)

What you will do

• Define mixed-signal IP requirements with SoC architects.
• Collaborate with IP vendors to customize solutions and finalize Statements of Work.
• Manage IP intake, including pre-licensing, post-acquisition quality assurance, integration, and sign-off reviews.
• Support mixed-signal IP after tape-out through laboratory testing, customer bring-up, and debugging.
• Test, support, and debug mixed-signal and high-speed SERDES blocks.
• Own circuit and system specifications and design CMOS analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field with at least 10 years of mixed-signal CMOS circuit design experience, or a master’s degree with at least 7.5 years of relevant experience.
• Deep understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flow, including architecture, design, and integration.
• Experience with high-speed SERDES and/or PLL circuits and circuit simulators such as HSPICE or Spectre.
• Understanding of device physics and basic ESD and latch-up concepts.
• Strong written and oral communication skills, teamwork ability, creativity, and adaptability to new projects.
• English proficiency is required for written and oral communication with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with PCIe, SAS, SATA, or Ethernet protocols.
• Experience with chiplet technologies.
