What you will do
- Lead the design and delivery of scalable iOS build and release tooling, including Azure DevOps pipelines, build caching, release automation, shared scripts, reusable tasks, and variable groups.
- Improve CI/CD performance by reducing build times, eliminating unused capacity, evaluating tooling, and tracking measurable impact.
- Define coding standards, architecture patterns, and best practices across the iOS engineering team.
- Collaborate with product managers, DevOps, backend engineers, and technical leads on mobile platform strategy and technical direction.
- Monitor application performance, stability, and release processes to support reliable deployments.
- Mentor iOS engineers and contribute to product roadmaps and long-term mobile strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant combination of education, experience, and training.
- At least 4 years of experience building and shipping iOS applications, including at least 2 years in a leadership or mentorship role.
- Expert proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, with deep knowledge of MVVM and VIPER architecture patterns.
- Experience designing scalable modular codebases and leading large features from concept through release.
- Strong knowledge of API integration, data persistence, state management, performance tuning, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release processes.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to influence technical direction across teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with Xcode build settings, Swift Package Manager, toolchain management, and Azure DevOps pipeline design.
