What you will do

• Reconcile digital asset holdings and transactions, including wallet-to-ledger matching and resolution of discrepancies.
• Prepare and post IFRS-compliant journal entries for token receipts, swaps, staking rewards, gas fees, DeFi yield, and impairment.
• Build ad hoc income statements, balance sheets, digital asset schedules, accruals, and close documentation for crypto-native entities.
• Improve month-end close processes, operational efficiency, and internal controls.
• Support crypto accounting system implementation through configuration testing, data migration validation, and workflow documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Operations, and auditors on transaction flows, controls, and supporting documentation.

Requirements

• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and regulations relevant to crypto assets.
• Working knowledge of wallets, exchanges, DeFi protocols, and crypto transaction flows.
• Strong Excel and reconciliation skills, with the ability to analyze large volumes of transactional data.
• Experience with finance, ERP, or crypto accounting system implementations, including testing, data validation, and documentation.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as SQL and Python, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.
