Senior Process Engineer (Photonics)

What you will do

• Drive process development for novel III-V etching, coating, and semiconductor fabrication modules.
• Translate product and device requirements into clear process specifications and control plans.
• Define process tooling needs, including equipment capability, materials, and vendor requirements.
• Design and manage DOEs to optimize etch profiles, coating performance, and process repeatability.
• Define metrology requirements and inspection strategies for process qualification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot process issues and drive corrective actions.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in semiconductor process engineering or integration, ideally with III-V materials or silicon photonics.
• Hands-on experience with cleanroom fabrication processes such as etching, deposition, or lithography.
• Strong knowledge of DOE design, statistical analysis, and data-driven process optimization.
• Experience defining metrology methods (e.g., SEM, profilometry, ellipsometry).
• Ability to document and institutionalize new processes through work instructions and qualification reports.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills.
