Head of Information Security

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; Workplace: Hybrid

Salary: €5,300–€7,500 gross per month; a different salary may be discussed based on skills and competencies.

What you will do

• Lead and develop a cross-functional information security team across IAM, security engineering, analytics, compliance, and security awareness.
• Set priorities and triage security work, balancing incident response with proactive security improvements.
• Report security posture, risks, and KPIs to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Coordinate security initiatives with engineering, legal, product, IT, and risk teams.
• Oversee incident response, access reviews, security monitoring, vulnerability management, and compliance audit readiness.
• Govern security tooling, budgets, resources, and the lifecycle of SIEM, endpoint protection, network security, and IAM platforms.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing security teams and communicating security requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience implementing and integrating enterprise security platforms, including SIEM, cloud security, network security controls, and endpoint security solutions.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, modern detection and response methodologies, and practical risk assessment.
• Experience assessing security controls against ISO 27001 and/or the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Nice to have

• Experience in a SaaS, web data, or technology-driven company.
• Familiarity with security automation, scripting, or SIEM/SOAR platforms.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud security.
