Senior Engineer (Python/Angular)

Location: Singapore; hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where they work.

What you will do

• Own the full software engineering lifecycle from design and development through deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and production support.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, Flask, FastAPI, AWS, Angular, and SQL databases.
• Lead architectural decisions and build scalable, maintainable, reliable, and high-performing services.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business and user needs into technical solutions.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and support processes; troubleshoot complex issues and participate in incident response.
• Mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and uphold standards for quality, security, and performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience with end-to-end feature ownership in production.
• Experience with modern frameworks, cloud platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
• Experience managing both development and operational aspects of software, including performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Prior senior-level experience mentoring or guiding team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
