Head of Customer Experience (AgTech)

Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Boulder, CO

Compensation: $150,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Hire, onboard, and develop the US Customer Experience team as it scales.
• Drive operational efficiency by leveraging data, automation, and AI to improve support performance.
• Manage complex, high-stakes customer escalations and coach the team on handling sensitive interactions.
• Represent the US region in global planning and provide product feedback based on customer insights.
• Spend time in the field with ranchers and producers to understand their operational challenges firsthand.
• Partner with the Ecosystems team to ensure seamless handoffs between AI and human support.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading and developing teams in customer-facing environments.
• Proven track record of scaling or materially improving a function in a startup or high-growth environment.
• Strong operational mindset with a focus on using AI and automation as performance levers.
• Ability to balance hands-on problem solving with strategic leadership.
• Excellent judgment under ambiguity and strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work on-site in Boulder, CO as part of an office-first culture.

Nice to have

• Experience launching or turning around a support or operations function.
• Understanding of the ranching or agriculture industry.
• Familiarity with tools like Intercom or Salesforce.
• Experience in AgTech or field-deployed hardware.
