Remote Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (NJ Licensed)

Location: Remote, New Jersey; fully virtual with periodic in-person retreats

Salary: $250,000 starting annual salary, prorated to $125,000 for 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week)

What you will do

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication treatment plans, and ongoing medication management for children and teens.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary InStride care team, families, pediatricians, and outpatient prescribers.
• Participate in clinical team meetings focused on patient care, collaboration, and education.
• Schedule patients as indicated and complete thorough, timely clinical documentation.
• Provide feedback on workflow improvements and contribute ideas for program growth and innovation.

Requirements

• New Jersey MD licensure appropriate to the clinical discipline is required.
• Expertise in medication management for children and teens experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, and ADHD.
• Compassionate, thoughtful approach to patient care and cultural competence regarding diversity and inclusion.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, professionally, and flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information, complete documentation thoroughly, work collaboratively, and use basic computer and new technology tools.
