Product Manager - Payment Success

Location: Belgrade, Serbia — Hybrid. Candidates must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where they will work.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap for payment success.
• Own the end-to-end payment creation and submission experience, including payment rules, routing, and processing.
• Improve straight-through processing rates, payment reliability, and the client payment experience.
• Own payment tracking and visibility so clients receive real-time status and progress information.
• Prioritize features and fixes using client impact, processing performance, business value, and transaction-level data.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, and Operations to turn client pain points and operational data into product decisions.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building or improving payment products.
• Experience owning a product roadmap and making decisions in ambiguous environments.
• Strong data skills, including diagnosing issues and measuring performance with transaction-level data.
• Ability to understand payment mechanics, system constraints, financial risk, and legal requirements.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills with engineering, operations, compliance, and legal stakeholders.
• Experience applying AI or machine learning to payment optimization, such as routing, failure prediction, delivery-time prediction, or processing efficiency.
