Payment Success Product Manager (Fintech)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia — Hybrid. Candidates must have the right to work in the jurisdiction where they will work.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the product strategy and roadmap for payment success.
• Own the end-to-end payment creation, submission, routing, and processing experience.
• Improve straight-through processing rates and the overall payment experience.
• Own client-facing payment tracking and real-time payment status visibility.
• Use transaction-level data and product performance metrics to identify opportunities and prioritise features and fixes.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver compliant payment improvements.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building or improving payment products.
• Strong ownership of product roadmaps and decision-making in ambiguous environments.
• Data-driven approach with experience diagnosing issues and measuring transaction performance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Technical depth sufficient to understand system constraints and work closely with engineers.
• Experience applying AI or machine learning to payment optimisation, such as routing, failure prediction, delivery-time prediction, or processing efficiency.
