Software Engineer III (Java)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end delivery of medium-to-large features, from requirements clarification and design through implementation, testing, deployment, and operational readiness.
• Design and implement maintainable solutions for moderately complex technical and business problems.
• Write well-tested Java code and perform thoughtful code reviews.
• Build test, tooling, and CI/CD automation to improve engineering efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineering managers, and teammates to manage risks, dependencies, and delivery goals.
• Investigate production issues, implement postmortem actions, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing enterprise software systems.
• Core Java and Java-based N-tier web application development with Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit, Mockito, Gradle, and Maven.
• Experience with relational databases, JDBC, ORM, data modeling, software architecture, system integration, messaging, web services, SOA, and web UI.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and platforms such as TeamCity, Jenkins, and Docker.
• Exposure to UI frameworks such as React.
• Proficient spoken and written English, strong documentation skills, and a degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Ability to apply AI and data-driven insights to improve productivity and engineering outcomes.
