Public Sector Contracts & Compliance Manager

Location: Hybrid in-office role based in Dallas, Texas, United States

Salary: $156,000–$186,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own public sector compliance and monitor federal contract obligations.
• Review and support negotiation of government contracts, including FAR and DFARS clauses.
• Evaluate federal solicitations, RFIs, and RFPs, identifying risks and recommendations.
• Track contractual obligations, registrations, certifications, reporting, templates, and playbooks.
• Coordinate CMMC, cybersecurity, export control, supplier risk, and federal supply chain compliance with internal teams and advisers.
• Support Sales with procurement regulations, bid/no-bid decisions, compliance representations, certifications, and customer-facing discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of experience in government contracting with hands-on FAR and DFARS compliance expertise.
• Strong understanding of CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity frameworks, including coordination with IT teams.
• Experience with export control regulations and federal supply chain compliance requirements.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, IT, Finance, and Legal and translate regulations into practical guidance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing compliance representations, certifications, and internal playbooks.

Nice to have

• NCMA CFCM, CPCM, or an active Secret-level or higher security clearance.
• Experience in a software, technology, or dual-use product company selling to the public sector.
• Familiarity with Cost Accounting Standards or government contract management systems.
