Accounts Receivable Analyst

What you will do

• Execute daily cash application for reservation deposits, vehicle payments, and merchandise sales in SAP.
• Process refunds, chargebacks, cancellations, and deposit conversions while maintaining accurate customer AR balances.
• Monitor unapplied cash, invoicing integrations, AR aging, overdue balances, and customer account exceptions.
• Prepare daily and monthly reconciliations across payment processors, financing partners, and bank accounts.
• Support month-end close through deposit liability schedules, aging analysis, journal entries, metrics, and disclosure inputs.
• Build AR procedures, controls, documentation, and system support processes as the function scales.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of accounts receivable, cash application, or accounting operations experience in a high-transaction-volume environment.
• Strong knowledge of cash application, customer deposit accounting, AR close, reconciliations, aging analysis, and exception management.
• Hands-on SAP AR or comparable ERP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Clear communication, strong organization, and the ability to resolve discrepancies across finance and non-finance teams.
• Full-time availability for the role based in Troy, Michigan, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adyen, Stripe, or a similar payment processor.
• Exposure to SOX control environments or a pre-IPO company.
• Experience in a growth-stage environment where AR processes are being built.
