Senior Procurement Specialist (Taiwan)

Location: On-site in the Taipei office, with full-time office presence five days a week

What you will do

• Own end-to-end procurement of components and servers, including RFQs, quotation evaluation, pricing negotiation, ordering, delivery tracking, and invoice reconciliation.
• Define sourcing strategies for key hardware categories and develop new vendor relationships.
• Manage supplier performance, lead times, escalations, and RMA coordination.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, customs clearance, shipment tracking, and delivery issue resolution.
• Support CAPEX planning and procurement forecasting with the Finland-based procurement team and Finance.
• Review procurement contracts and supply agreements covering delivery terms, SLAs, liability, and price escalation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or vendor management in hardware, technology infrastructure, or data center environments.
• Experience independently managing procurement from purchase request through delivery confirmation and invoice reconciliation.
• Strong negotiation experience with hardware supply agreements, volume pricing, and delivery terms.
• Experience with international shipping, customs clearance, Incoterms, and freight forwarding.
• Ability to review and manage commercial contracts and assess contractual exposure.
• Proficiency in both Mandarin and English and willingness to work on-site five days a week in Taipei.

Nice to have

• Experience procuring GPU servers, AI accelerators, or data center infrastructure hardware.
• Familiarity with server ODMs and Asian supply chains across Taiwan, Japan, or mainland China.
• Experience in a scaling startup or high-growth environment.
• Japanese or a major European language.
