Senior Technical Solutions Consultant (Payments)

Location: Bucharest, Romania; at least 3 days per week in the office required

What you will do

• Consult with European acquirers, payment service providers, processors, and merchants on hirify.global Direct enablement and growth.
• Assess current-state architectures and define future-state designs using modern APIs, microservices, and scalable integration patterns.
• Lead solution ideation and high-level architecture, translating business needs into pragmatic technology and integration designs.
• Support presales and RFP processes in partnership with Sales, Product, and Compliance.
• Translate technical capabilities into client value propositions and solution narratives.
• Lead project governance, manage escalations, and contribute to hirify.global Direct product improvements.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in programme or product roles involving new payment technologies and capabilities.
• Significant experience in the European payments sector and strong understanding of card and account payment processing.
• Knowledge of payments compliance, banking systems, modern technologies, APIs, and cloud solutions.
• Excellent communication, influencing, analytical, and commercial judgement skills.
• Strong programme and project management skills, with experience in both Waterfall and Agile frameworks.
• Good understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle and the ability to simplify complex technical and commercial barriers.
