Principal Machine Learning Scientist (AI)

hirify.global is recruiting for a leading global technology company with a growing machine learning organisation in London.

What you will do

• Design and scale machine learning systems powering personalised user experiences and intelligent decision-making.
• Build ranking, retrieval, and recommendation systems using representation learning and embeddings.
• Develop sequential models and production ML pipelines for real-time inference.
• Design large-scale ML architectures and work with complex datasets and big data technologies such as Spark.
• Drive experimentation, optimisation, and model performance improvements.
• Provide technical leadership across ML and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience in machine learning or applied science, taking ML systems from research through production.
• Deep expertise in recommendation systems, ranking, or retrieval.
• Strong knowledge of representation learning, embedding techniques, and ML system design at scale.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets and production ML systems.
• MSc or PhD in machine learning, computer science, or a related field.
• Track record of leading complex technical initiatives.
