Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby on Rails code.
• Develop core services and associated infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product managers on product decisions and feature development.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.
• Participate in architectural discussions and refine engineering standards.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of production experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Understanding of web application performance optimization techniques.
• Experience scaling applications and managing platform infrastructure.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
• Knowledge of software delivery methodologies such as Agile and Kanban.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Postgres, Redis, Cloudflare, ViewComponents, Hotwire, and ERB.
