What you will do

• Assist with layout design for analog and mixed-signal circuits, including current mirrors, differential pairs, op-amps, bandgaps, and comparators.
• Perform LVS, DRC, and PEX to verify design quality and manufacturability.
• Support floor planning, placement, routing, matching, shielding, and guard-ring implementation for analog blocks.
• Collaborate with circuit designers to optimize performance, area, and reliability while reducing mismatch, noise coupling, and IR drop.
• Document layout work and contribute to layout review checklists and verification reports.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of analog and mixed-signal IC design concepts.
• Familiarity with EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys, or Mentor Graphics.
• Understanding of matching techniques, layout symmetry, and common-centroid structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in advanced high-speed and low-noise analog layout methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Perforce, or other version-control systems.
• Knowledge of CMOS and FinFET device structures.
• Familiarity with analog layout techniques and parasitic extraction.
