SVP, Engineering (Data Centers)

Location: Remote

Salary: $310,000–$340,000 per year, plus bonus and sign-on equity grant.

What you will do

• Establish engineering standards, Basis of Design frameworks, and QA/QC protocols across mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines.
• Own technical reviews and approvals at DD, 30/60/90, and IFC project milestones.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary Engineering organization, including hiring, role definition, and technical growth.
• Set requirements for external EORs, design consultants, and specialty vendors; review deliverables, submittals, and equipment selections.
• Partner with Design Management and Construction on design integration, constructability, RFI resolution, and commissioning readiness.
• Support Procurement with technical equipment evaluations and represent Engineering in executive, strategic planning, and stakeholder discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering; an advanced degree is a plus.
• 15+ years of engineering experience in the data center market.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams with direct people-management responsibility.
• Deep technical expertise in at least one of mechanical, electrical, or controls engineering, with working knowledge of the other disciplines.
• Track record of establishing engineering standards and delivering consistent technical execution across capital portfolios.
• Executive communication skills, consultant and EOR oversight experience, and willingness to travel to sites for critical events.
