Fullstack Engineer (Go/Kotlin/React)

Location: Based in the Helsinki or Berlin tech hubs

What you will do

• Build and maintain production software across backend services and user-facing merchant applications.
• Develop features for merchant onboarding, analytics, recommendations, menu and order management, integrations, and operational tools.
• Design reliable APIs, data models, services, and user-facing functionality.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, operations, data specialists, and engineers to turn business needs into technical solutions.
• Own features from implementation through production and ongoing maintenance.
• Improve system quality, scalability, observability, and maintainability, including effective use of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

• Experience building production software end-to-end and at scale in backend, frontend, or fullstack environments.
• Strong expertise in at least one part of the stack and willingness to contribute across frontend and backend boundaries.
• Experience with Go, Kotlin, Java, or a similar backend language, and/or TypeScript and React.
• Good understanding of APIs, databases, testing, and software design fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently on well-scoped problems and collaborate effectively with others.
• Good communication skills and a pragmatic, collaborative mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience with merchant-facing or internal operational tools.
• Experience with analytics, recommendations, decisioning systems, or external business integrations.
• Background in grocery, retail, restaurants, logistics, or marketplace technology.
• Experience with Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, or Docker.
