Senior Software Engineer (Data & Distributed Systems)

What you will do

• Design and evolve feed definitions for performance across a complex multi-cloud environment.
• Unify diverse data ingestion and egress paths while improving code reuse and reducing latency.
• Drive self-service provisioning and increase platform flexibility for stakeholders.
• Build and operate large-scale distributed systems serving global traffic.
• Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams and contribute to an inclusive engineering culture.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development and engineering experience.
• Strong experience with distributed systems and solid computer science and engineering fundamentals.
• Expertise in a backend programming language such as C#, Java, or Go.
• Experience working on agile, distributed teams across multiple time zones and continents.
• Experience with Spark, GraphQL, Vertica, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data platform technologies.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience building microservices.
• Experience with cloud technologies, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
