Senior Software Engineer GenAI

AI-led cloud professional and managed services provider supporting AWS and Salesforce migrations, implementations, and ongoing cloud operations.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable Python backend services, distributed systems, microservices, and AI-driven workflows.
• Integrate Large Language Models through AWS Bedrock and other AWS services.
• Design event-driven architectures and REST, GraphQL, or gRPC APIs.
• Optimize databases, search capabilities, query performance, and distributed caching.
• Contribute to cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and observability.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams while leading architecture discussions, mentoring, and hands-on development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong Python development skills with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Experience building AI-powered applications or integrating LLMs; AWS Bedrock experience is preferred.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, query optimization, event-driven architectures, messaging technologies, and Redis.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, cloud-native development, and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.

Nice to have

• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector search, OpenSearch, or graph databases such as Neo4j or Neptune.
• Frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Experience in enterprise or highly regulated environments.
