Character Art Team Leader (Game Art)

What you will do

• Lead junior and senior 2D and 3D artists on character and creature projects.
• Communicate with clients on artistic and technical matters.
• Define suitable technologies and establish art production pipelines with clients.
• Ensure the artistic and technical quality of deliverables.
• Align art goals and objectives with producers and art directors while monitoring project health.
• Support training and mentor artists when applicable.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of leadership experience in the video game industry with hands-on technical expertise.
• Experience shipping at least 1–2 AAA games.
• Proficiency with 3D Studio Max or Maya, Photoshop, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, and Marvelous Designer.
• Knowledge of game engines, especially Unreal Engine and Unity.
• Strong artistic and drawing skills, with experience creating and optimizing art pipelines.
• Great English communication skills are required.
