3D/2D Game Artist

Location: Remote from Barcelona, Amsterdam, or Paris, within a two-hour time difference of CET.

What you will do

• Support the Art Director in developing and executing the game's visual vision.
• Create high-quality 3D and 2D assets, including characters, props, and environments.
• Set up, integrate, and animate UI scenes in Unity.
• Create visual effects using Unity's particle system.
• Optimize assets and game visuals for mobile devices.
• Iterate based on team feedback and live user data while proposing ideas to improve engagement and user experience.

Requirements

• Strong Unity skills, including direct implementation and optimization in the engine.
• Excellent 3D and 2D design skills with a strong understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, and readability.
• Experience with Maya for animation and rigging and Blender for 3D modeling.
• Ability to create VFX using Unity's particle system.
• Experience with A/B testing or LiveOps features.
• Fluent English and experience collaborating with remote cross-functional teams.

• Awareness of emerging mobile game trends and the ability to analyze successful games.
