Staff/Lead Security Engineer (PAM)

Location: Chicago - 20 S. Wacker

Salary: $132,100-$220,100 per year, plus annual target bonus and equity opportunity

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of highly automated and reliable Privileged Account Management solutions.
• Drive the adoption and advancement of CyberArk/Idira ISPSS and Privileged Cloud infrastructure.
• Identify PAM coverage gaps, design solutions, and lead remediation efforts to improve compliance and account inventory management.
• Support IAM technologies including directory services, federation, MFA, identity lifecycle management, and identity visibility and intelligence.
• Research emerging security tools, evaluate products, and contribute to PAM and IAM roadmaps and project plans.
• Perform advanced incident troubleshooting, participate in on-call rotations and disaster recovery tests, and automate manual tasks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience with CyberArk/Idira, including hands-on design, deployment, and support of large-scale implementations.
• Strong knowledge of PAM, IAM security controls, audit controls, and information security principles.
• Expertise in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Ability to create scripts using PowerShell or Python.
• Experience communicating complex technical issues to technical and business stakeholders and mentoring junior staff.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, DevOps, containerized workloads, and related tooling.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and a Product Operating Model.
• CyberArk/Idira, GCP, CISSP, or equivalent certifications.
