Senior PAM Engineer (Cybersecurity)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; four days onsite at Seneca One Buffalo and one day per week from home.

Salary: $97,100–$161,800 annual (USD).

What you will do

• Lead the design, deployment, integration, and maintenance of Privileged Access Management solutions.
• Customize and configure PAM platforms including CyberArk, BeyondTrust, and Thycotic.
• Develop PAM policies, procedures, controls, and tuning methodologies.
• Implement automation and orchestration for complex security operations and response activities.
• Monitor PAM environments, conduct privileged-account audits, and support regulatory and internal audit requirements.
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity, Technology, audit, compliance, leadership, and vendors to improve security capabilities and resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience, or 7 years of combined higher education and/or work experience without a degree.
• Intermediate understanding of PAM system development, infrastructure lifecycle, architecture, and systems design.
• Experience developing and customizing PAM tools and translating architecture into technical requirements.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with leaders, build process alignment, and analyze quantitative data from multiple sources.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo four days per week.
