Senior Software Development Engineer (AdTech)

What you will do

• Design and evolve scalable, reliable software services and components, including system and low-level designs, APIs, and data models.
• Lead end-to-end delivery of complex technical features across services or domains, from requirements clarification through deployment and operational support.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, and engineering teams to define technical direction and engineering standards.
• Improve service reliability, performance, security, and observability through code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Mentor engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and knowledge sharing.
• Integrate and operate AI/ML-enabled solutions for real-world products in line with company standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Professional software engineering experience owning significant services or components in a multi-service or domain environment.
• Proficiency designing and building backend or full-stack systems with RESTful or similar APIs, data models, and integration patterns.
• Experience with object-oriented or functional design, automated testing, code review, source control, and CI/CD for production systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting production services through monitoring, troubleshooting, and issue resolution, including familiarity with AI-driven tools in development or operations workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience designing distributed, high-traffic, or large-scale systems and making performance, reliability, and cost trade-offs.
• Leadership in defining APIs, data contracts, and maintainable low-level designs across services or teams.
• Strong operational excellence practices, including observability, resiliency patterns, automation, and metrics-driven improvement.
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading complex technical projects and influencing engineering standards.
