Senior Data Detection Engineer

Location: Remote, U.S. only

Polymarket operates a peer-to-peer prediction market platform covering politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs.

What you will do

• Own the architecture and long-term technical direction of the intelligence-fusion platform.
• Design detection and correlation approaches for market manipulation and coordinated evasion.
• Ingest on-chain and OSINT data sources and improve existing data pipelines.
• Build automation that assigns cases after detection signals are generated.
• Work directly with analysts and investigators to turn manual workflows into repeatable, auditable tooling.

Requirements

• Experience owning a complex data system end-to-end over a multi-year period.
• Senior data or detection engineering experience at scale.
• Strong SQL, Python or equivalent, data pipeline, scheduled-system, and event-driven-system skills.
• Hands-on experience with data fusion, entity resolution, scoring, and signal corroboration.
• Ability to work with investigators and analysts and build systems suitable for legal and audit review.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience working with fraud, trust and safety, or investigations teams.
• Experience analyzing on-chain or crypto data, blockchain transactions, or wallet clusters.
