Senior Data Engineer (Web3)

hirify.global is an onchain analytics platform that labels and tracks more than 500 million blockchain addresses for traders and funds.

What you will do

• Design, build, and scale data pipelines and infrastructure using ClickHouse, Postgres, Python, and dbt.
• Operate streaming and batch pipelines processing terabytes of data daily across more than 500 million labeled blockchain addresses.
• Collaborate with data engineers, ML engineers, crypto researchers, software engineers, and product partners to model and productize data.
• Own data quality, reliability, and observability across ingestion, transformation, storage, modeling, and serving.
• Mentor data engineers and raise the team's technical standards.
• Use AI tools and agents to accelerate engineering work and reduce manual tasks.

Requirements

• Experience shipping and scaling high-performance data systems in production.
• Deep expertise in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in dbt, ClickHouse, and Postgres.
• Strong understanding of streaming data architectures and operating systems at genuine scale.
• Experience across the full data stack, including ingestion, transformation, storage, modeling, and serving.
• Experience building with Cursor, Claude Code, and MCPs.
• Clear written communication for a remote, asynchronous working environment.

Nice to have

• Experience leading or managing projects in a smaller team.
• Fluency in onchain data structures, Web3 technologies, and crypto markets.
