Compensation Administrator

Location: Toronto, Ontario; hybrid work arrangement

Salary: $43,000–$63,000 CAD per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary variable incentive plan

What you will do

• Provide scheduled and rotational customer service support through the dedicated 1-800 line.
• Administer compensation for producers and up-line management across all distribution channels.
• Maintain producer and up-line compensation information in applicable systems.
• Process compensation adjustments, garnishments, assignments, and court orders.
• Review error reports and unprocessed activities, correcting issues before commission deadlines.
• Manage producer debt recovery, repayment arrangements, and terminated producers with outstanding debt.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent field experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to multitask under pressure, prioritize changing workloads, and meet strict deadlines.
• Accurate keyboarding skills and working knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Ability to work within Insurance Operations hours of 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Availability for statutory holidays supporting US customers, as well as extended hours, evenings, and weekends during peak periods.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of producer and up-line contracting in Canada and the US.
• Knowledge of PMACS and the PMACS web portal.
• French written and verbal communication skills.
