Software Engineer, Content Platform (Go)

Location: Remote - United States

Salary: $164,200–$229,900 USD per year, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, and deliver software primarily in Go and occasionally in Python.
• Build and improve scalable, fault-tolerant, self-service Content Platform systems supporting feeds, posts, comments, and votes.
• Improve product availability, scalability, latency, and operational efficiency across Tier-0 infrastructure.
• Work across the Go services and Python monolith legacy stack, implementing complex system-level changes.
• Identify platform gaps and evolve the architecture to support future growth.
• Share on-call responsibilities and improve monitoring, alerting, and service reliability with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production software engineering experience with clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Proficiency in one or more backend languages, including Go, Python, C++, or Java.
• Experience with databases such as Cassandra, Postgres, or Redis.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and technologies such as Kubernetes, gRPC, AWS, or GCP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
