Operational Accounting Associate II (System Updates)

What you will do

• Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and DDAs accurately and on time.
• Identify out-of-balance conditions, fraud indicators, unusual items, and aged items, escalating issues according to procedures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly accounting and departmental reports for Finance, Audit, and SOX purposes.
• Research reconciliation discrepancies and support their resolution.
• Communicate with internal cross-functional areas, business partners, and investors to resolve routine inquiries and issues.
• Update procedures when processes or accounting requirements change and maintain internal control standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of work experience.
• Ability to follow accounting, compliance, operational risk, and corporate control policies.
• Ability to support financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and address internal and external audit points.
